On the 27th November 2010, the YCA celebrated Eid Al Adha in the Nadi Park Royal, Willesden. Again it was a fabulous celebration with over 400 Yemenis and their families attending. There were face painting and Eid gifts given to all the children as well as henna painting. There was Live Yemeni music being played for people to enjoy. There was an incredible array of Yemeni food and traditional Yemeni sweets.
There was a fabulous raffle prize draw with the best prize being 2 Air tickets to Yemen as well as many other exceptional prizes kindly donated by Mr. Massod (Yemeni Businessman in the UK). There were also many dignitaries present who were all very pleased with the event.
We had the pleasure of BBC Arab News covering the event with interviews from the chairperson and the Yemeni Ambassador in Britain.
Again a very successful and joyous celebration felt by all.
