Trip to Southend-on-sea

The first activity organised by the Yemeni Community Association was an amazing day trip to Southend on Sea on August 7th 2010. It has one of the most popular stretches of seafront and an incredible seven mile pleasure pier. The YCA arranged for 2 full coaches and 2 mini coaches plus 3 people carrier a total of approximately 250 Yemeni men, women and children who thoroughly enjoyed the day trip.

Due to the huge popularity of the trip, we arranged for multi pickup points from London’s Maida Vale station and Hounslow Central station. Everybody thoroughly enjoyed the day, whether it was a relaxing time on the beach or a thrilling time in the amusement park. Families had the opportunity to meet new friends and enjoy the August summer.
